Good for Soil and the Planet

Plants and lawns require nutrient-rich soil for a healthy foundation. Instead of sending local waste straight to landfills, the McGill-Bees Ferry composting site turns it into a powerful soil amendment.

Composed of 100% recycled material, Bees Best Compost helps make gardens, lawns, and ornamentals healthier and is good for the planet.

Choosing the Right Compost

Building soil organic matter is essential for creating solid foundations for plants, vegetables, trees and shrubs. Compost adds organic matter and nutrients to restore soil health and helps establish a good water management progrom.

Bees Best Charleston County Compost is made of 100% recycled content that is locally sourced from the Charleston area, including yard and wood waste, paper, cardboard, and food waste. Use it as a soil amendment for planting media, as topdressing for lawns, or as backfill for new trees and shrubs.
